This movie wasn't as funny as i thought it would be.

The book was way more complex and better. But for those who read it, it still worth a watchm you will be curious about this adaptation

Slow at first, then takes a twist u dont expect and then ends up being better than what u thought the movie would be with a slow start.

Stagevu - Watchable quality if you too tight to goto the cinema( Like i was ). Great film laughed some what of the way through it. Also found it entertaining at times. Watched version 5. Video 7/10 audio 8/10. Pretty good movie, glad to see he was portayed in a differn't role. As others said he does need to start doing other types of movies. This movies worth the watch.

This movie has some cheap laughs... Maybe worth a first time watch to some poeple maybe not.

Ithadan artsy feel alot and strange plot you deffinitly need a unique perpective to love this movie. I thought it was ok the 2cd half was funnier than the 1st. i give it 3 1/2 out of 5

This was a lame movie. It had a giggle worthy moment here and there, but overall it was pointless and about nothing relevant. It was uptight and kinda arrogant. The line "I wanna tickle your bellybutton... from the inside" was genius though. Like seriously, a movie where adults are all morons and overly erudite high-schoolers speak like Harvard English professors as a plot? Come on. I give it a George out of a George-Michael Bluth.

I liked the way the film split Michael Cera's split personality into 2 roles. His general personna is a simpering intellectual. For this one, his alter personality got to destroy stuff. But mere destruction of property does not make one a bad ass. The film kept stuff light. The funnier parts were in dealing with males hormones during adolescence. Girls: all they really want is sex.

I found this to be a very smart film. Though i am not thrilled that Michael Cera gets pegged as the same role in every movie, i felt that the split persona made him intresting. very good flick and i suggest to someone who enjoys smart, dry humor. i would say take a chance on this one.

One of the secrets of Youth in Revolt is that Nick seems bewildered by his own desires and strategies. He knows how he feels, he knows what he wants, but he'd need a map to get from A to B. It's his self-abasing modesty that makes the movie work. Here, you feel, is a movie character who would find more peace on the radio.
