It was all about how 5 kids from diffrent cliques and groups who would never talk let alone hang out with each other, and forcing them to be in the same room for a whole saturday morning where they come to discover they have alot more in common than they had ever known. The movie shows how it doesnt matter who you hang out with or what you have or dont have, that you can still be friends with whoever and dont have to be forced or labeled as such in high school. Hope it explains it a bit more goodoggie.

Great movie. Captured the spirit of teen angst in the 80s perfectly. A gem in the crown of one of the best 80's film makers.

This is on of my fav movies. I mean I watched this movie as a young girl, 14-15 years old and fell in love. If you have never seen it, You have to. Its a Must MUST see. You will really enjoy it. ;)
